At the beginning of a new century in January 2000, Gallery Chitrak, started its Journey with Executive Director Md. Muniruzzaman at the helm, well supported by his two directors Md. Zohir Uddin and Ahmed Nazir.

Gallery Chitrak has reached its 23^rd year milestone, completing an exciting   decade-long journey. Twenty-three years may not be a very long time, but an important landmark, particularly for Gallery Chitrak, since it is a twenty three-year success story for the Gallery for fulfilling hopes and aspirations of the artists and the art enthusiasts of Bangladesh.

However, Gallery Chitrak’s journey is not completed yet. So, Gallery Chitrak is celebrating its 23^rd anniversary with a vision of a bigger journey in the next decade.
